Return to Geumnak-ri

Synopsis

Every summer, she suffers nightmares of snakes slithering into her home. Like a dream that pursues her even when she flees, the past she believed forgotten knocked on her door once more. Having lived as a cold-hearted lawyer in Seoul, she returns to her hometown, Geumnak-ri, after 11 years, using consulting on a redevelopment association dispute as her excuse. To the place where her father’s death had erased from her memory, where the hollowed-out past remained. There, a man held all of Hui-Jae’s past in his grasp. Kim Se-Won, CEO of Geumseong D&C. A figure standing on the opposing side of her client, and simultaneously the one who left an indelible wound on Hui-Jae. Every time she faced him, Hui-Jae was overwhelmed by scenes she couldn’t tell if they were dreams or memories. Red roses, an old side door, a school uniform, and the low voice that called her name. “No matter how many times I see you, you’re truly beautiful, Hui-Jae.” “If I kill your father for you, what will you give me?” What happened in Geumnak-ri eleven years ago? Why does he remember everything, yet lost only himself… (also known as 금낙리 [완전판] / Geumnakri / Geumnakri [wanjeonpan]) Currently ongoing with 65 chapters available (starting from Chapter 1 up to the latest Chapter 65).
