Osaa's Reverse Scale

Synopsis

After her foster father transforms into a serpent monster and dies, Nokhee is taken in by a high-ranking noble family. Overnight she becomes a pampered young lady—at least on the surface. In truth, she is nothing more than a living talisman, a girl kept to ward off misfortune. The only person who gives her room to breathe in this suffocating household is Giju, a servant boy who shares her low status. But Nokhee’s life grows more wretched by the day… And eventually, she learns that the heirloom she swallowed is none other than Giju’s reverse scale—his most untouchable, fatal weakness. “These disgusting things… can’t you take them back?” No matter how she thought about it, Giju had done nothing wrong. So Nokhee makes a decision— to push him out of this hell, even if she cannot escape it herself. “Haa… my lady.” “Hold onto the pillar, lift your skirt, and bite down.” (also known as 오사의 역린 / Osaui Yeokrin) Currently ongoing with 22 chapters available (starting from Chapter 1 up to the latest Chapter 22).
